Hi all. We are moving house very shortly and intend to take our gun safe and guns with us. We are moving to a whole new area. How do we go about registering our guns with a new constabulary and getting our certificates changed?

You email/phone your firearms dept and tell them your moving county and a date (if you have one). You then email/phone the 'new' counties firearms dept and tell them your moving to there area and they will tell you what they require. The new 'county' will sort out a new license as your old one is still valid. When i done this, mine was on the doorstep when i moved in.

 
When I moved I phoned Essex up they said phone Suffolk once you’ve moved. So I did they sent a bloke round to check my cabinet in my new house and sent my new licence through the post.
