Hi All,

Has anyone seen this movie yet?

Went to see it last night and would thoroughly recommend it. Haven't laughed so much for a long time :laugh: . Be warned though, it does contain lots of sex, nudity, orgies and drug abuse. So if you blush easily then its not for you. Particularly liked the 'Venice' scene.

Very good movie, Scorsese back to his best with a similar feel to Goodfellas although different subject matter. Its up there with some of the best Ive seen in a long while.

12 Years A Slave is at my top of the list, though for obvious reasons a much heavier film, very good indeed.

Are we talking types?! DiCaprio as an actor is excellent in this film, loved him in the Departed as well but prefer English actors - Colin Firth all the way!

GavB, haven't seen 12 years a slave yet - on my list to see.

That would have to make it better.  My informants tell me that the average bodice ripper or afternoon soap makes 50  seem like a child's primer.

As usual the soft core porn gets all the prudians all hot and bothered.  Amazing how nothing can become wow with enough hype.  The current attitudes are a joke compared to what was commonplace 50yrs ago and actually still is.  I mean, how deep does the sand have to be to hold all of those meatheads?

Saw this yesterday and I can heartily recommend it. Jonah Hill is excellent and had me laughing in most of his scenes. DiCaprio plays DiCaprio mostly but none the worse for it.

Daily Wail readers might want give this a miss and bloody good job too.

A solid 7.5/10 from me
