Looking at the photo gallery on the ISSF website it would appear that the USA shooting team (the finalists anyway) exclusively used the humble, low brass Winchester AA cartridge for all disciplines.

Makes you think don't it

I have seen these recently being used at Beverley. The cases look like the original compression formed ones. Unfortunately the person using them left thd ground before I asked where he got them.  If anybodg knows where theg can bd obtained, please let us know.

Looking at the Winchester website they only make one 24g cartridge and that's the AA, in 7.5's or 9's.

the only Winchester clay cartridge I can find for sale in the UK is the AA Tracker ( the wad is weighted so it follows the shot string ?) but at £14.50 a box I suspect they don't sell too many

lets start a campaign to get the AA's back in the country :)

The guy that shoots them at Beverley had 10000 brought in from Belgium, they were cheaper than most stuff on the market, they are the proper American ones, he is giving me some next time we meet......

Armusa have brought out a new super soft 28g cartridge. I'm sure someone said they based them on the winchester AA carts. Shot a slab and they are like shooting a 28 gauge with great kills. Shame they only make them in a 9.
