Should you use TSA locks to lock shotgun peli case when travelling to Usa or not?

I use my makers case for all travel, air or not.
Double combination locks. So far so good.

To be honest a gun being transported via an airline is subject to extensive security before going on the plane and immediately afterwards ( in Europe anyway) so the chances of security wanting to open the case anytime between are pretty remote.

That said, as you are using a Peli case it wouldn't do any harm if you have TSA locks already.

I thought you weren't supposed to use TSA locks, so that unauthorised personnel can't open it, and that if required, you would be asked to open it.

Could be wrong though?
