The problem is the topic often degenerates into irrelevent jokes, silly comments and inneuendo. If it drifts to other issues shooting related that's fine but that's often not what's happening.

With the greatest of respect mate, there's more to life and than shooting - even for the denizens of a shooting forum. I know some might struggle with that concept, but it's true nonetheless.

Added to which, all humour is subjective - and therefore down to personal taste: so what you might find "silly" and "non-shooting related" can be a breath of fresh air to others here after wading through some of the leaden shooting fare on offer.
