Match 54 and Benchrest

Has anyone any tips on using an Anshutz Match 54 for Benchrest?

In what way?  I think the Bolt action makes them easier to use on a bench than a BSA Match rifle where  there's the underleaver to consider.

I was really wondering weather you need/should  restock them, so they had a flat forend  parallel to the barrel.
