Thank you Hammy I knew you would know. Would the grade of wood made any difference?I bought mine around 1990 from Chris Potters for £1250 if memory serves, px'd a like new Miroku 6000 G3, guns didn't go up an awful lot in the 90's so my guess is around £1450.
I don't think the 682 has ever really been marketed with different grades of wood although the Lux versions which had engraving also had better wood. Having said that there are some standard 682's around with exotic grain, mine used to get the odd favourable comment.Thank you Hammy I knew you would know. Oh yes , very good shells as were the Trap 100/200, often wonder why someone doesn't re-introduce the whole range even if it means buying the rights.I purchased a 682 Supersport at about the same time from Shooters Paradise in Clowne & also paid about £1250.00. It had 30" ported barrels - it was a fantastic gun and dusted the targets with Winchester Winner 8's. Boy I regret part xing this gun but needed the funds to replace when I upgraded to a CG 32".
Anyone remember using winner 8's a premium grade shell @ £108 per thousand when these were last available in the UK
