Shot my first fitasc in 16years today. The east Midlands intercounties at sporting targets. Didn't start well with a gun warning on the first peg and I missed 8 on that layout but picked up after that and finished on 81. Enjoyed it apart from the £64 birds only entry price.

Eriswell look to be spending a lot of time and money putting on this event. Shooting it on Thursday.

Anyone shooting it? Iam having a go tomorrow.

Thought I would have a go at stock making. It's approximately 20 times more difficult than I expected. However its starting to resemble a stock now.

It looks just about full in less than a day.

Does full choke blow the pattern? I've been using a 3/4 and full trap gun for the last year and I get amazing smoking kills with the 3/4 but never with the full Using the same cartridges.

I was driving along a country road today and a woodpigeon was flying just over the hedge and keeping up with me at 55 mph and it got me thinking. If I shot it from a moving car would it need the same lead as if I had been stationary or less ?
