Ed Lyons Total Workout Sports Vision Kit

For Sale - still boxed and unused. These cost £79 new from Ed's website but I will take £65 posted. I have heard good things about these kits as our eyesight is something we often take for granted amongst all the gadgets and kit we buy for our guns. The below is from Ed's website...

    British and English Open postponed

It’s just as popular as it ever was. But neither the CPSA nor the ground have done anything to advertise it. Entries for this one are directly through the ground so folks tend to leave it later to book in rather than sit up till midnight on the CPSA site like the other events.

    British and English Open postponed

Ridiculous decision when there are weeks left to take bookings.

    BUCS......Ouch

Back then they used to have a flush on that layout as part of the competition. It was great fun but the entry figures have swelled so much year on year that they eventually had to ditch the flush and extend the shoot to two days. Which can't be bad news.

    BUCS......Ouch

Yes, I believe that was 2004, when she won a three-way shoot off for the gold. http://www.bucs.org.uk/page.asp?section=16154&sectionTitle=2003-2004

    Gebben Miles UK Coaching Tour

I made some similar comments over on another site and probably came close to upsetting one or two. I do agree with deershooter to some extent. I should preface that by saying that as I have never met Gebben, my opinion of him can only be formed by what I see, read and hear online and in...

Goal: AA Class for sporting. How to do it: Shoot AA class scores.

    Why is FITASC more expensive

Sportrap shoots seem to manage ok with lots of traps, fewer refs and regular prices?

    Guitar advice.

+1 for having your guitar set up properly. It might seem a bit excessive, especially if you're just beginning, but will make the guitar a lot easier and more enjoyable to play. I'd have some new, lighter strings put on straight away. They'll be slinkier and easier to fret than the factory ones...

    Film4's new "clay shooting" advert

To be fair, a quick wander round your average 100 bird registered on a Sunday morning and you will see dozens with a worse and more unnatural gun mount than that guy.

    New classifications (from 1.12.13)

I'll be staying put in A Class for sporting with an average of just over 80%. Haven't done a lot of travelling this year and had a couple of truly disastrous scores so just happy to keep a respectable average. Issue 46 will start at about 83.5% so should make AA next time. Will probably stay put...
