Decided today to go and have a look at the new sporting layout at Southern counties the stands cover 12 in all starting from just beyond the Hotel and continuing up to the pond area half of the stands are under cover there is also a compact sporting just past the hotel. I only shot 7 stands but my impression is that it could make for a very good shoot if a good standard is kept up the cost is 30 pounds per hundred and you pay to have a look which makes foe expensive practise. So we must wait and see.

So Southern Counties in Dorset is open again with a Sporting layout but no trap layouts? Presumably Kevin Newton is running it?
