Ian, its all part of the panache of visiting a posh shooting school old boy! My last gun was set up for me for the cost of two rounds of ot. The guy in question has shot trap for England, owns a shooting ground, is a coach and a gunsmith. Oh.....and you ignore his advice at your peril! ?
Thank you for that, a superb report and I guess, experience. I shall be contacting them later in the year, I plan on going there with a friend who has just bought a nice Merkel sidelock. I suspect it is just a touch low and if AGL hold another fitting/alteration weekend, we could get it altered. Just have to get him on some clays and my 'Blue Peter Kit' of sticky tape and rubber beforehand !
