Not all World Championships end on a Sunday. A lot end on a Saturday with a prize giving / meal that evening. Sunday's are then a consolation shoot or off home. :wink:

I would personally welcome a few more finishing on a Saturday. I would rather all the days I take off for an event were in one week, rather than spread across two and making the holiday from from 'Tuesday to Monday' 

But then, I'm ALWAYS out shooting.

If I remember correctly a Grand Prix can be 150 birds over 2 days but a World Cup G.P. has to be 200 over 2 days and if its a W.Cup . it is open to any FITASC shooter from any country affiliated to FITASC. :crazy:

almost correct guru, now they will shoot sporting/compact over  2 day shoot,, I`e`  next year at Sterkfontain, African cup fitasc is 19/20th, followed by compak on 21/22nd.

I've shot FITASC UT GP 200 targets on 2, 3 and 4 days dependent upon the number of ranges available and anticipated entries.
