Thought I'd share a couple of pics I took through a couple of welding mask filters

The reflections in the first pic are better than the sun but I liked the overall pick

We got nothing, just an overcast sky, no real darkness and nothing to see.

Dullish in Cheshire....   TBH got more of an eclipse when the x went sunbathing

I should say also, took the advise of professionals and didn't look directly at the sun, I watched the moon though........... cant see sod all now :haha:

Beautiful view from Devon. Blinding to be exact!

Not as good as the 1999 one though when we had totallity. Hardly went dark at all today, even had to carry on working. (I didn't of course!!).. :sarcastic:
Tony happened to be scouting a location for Longitude the film during that eclipse and got to see it also in Cornwall.

I was in Torquay for the 1999 eclipse....drove down the night before on a last minute.com with the eldest ...

Slept in a random quiet road, and  went to the top of a multi storey car park the next day.

Managed to just see totallity as the clouds covered the sun/moon

amazing experiance, as you can guess, hence why i wanted to go again

:santa: x
