Which model of msa is the one to go for.?

You don't need the expensive ones. About three levels available I think. I think the cheapest ones are analogue rather than digital sound? Clayclouter bought the cheapest ones and is very happy with them. The gel inserts are an expensive extra, but really worth it for comfort.

MSA Sordins with the optional gel pads are excellent and mould around my prescription glasses without any sound leakage. When you put them on you don’t here much at all and could not hold a normal conversation until you switch the electronics on and increase the volume. I went through two other makes of electronic cans before discovering MSN and there is no comparison.

From memory there's 3 grades. Don't bother with the top grade unless you're a Tank Commander. I have the stereo mid range ones.

I have these as well and I agree with the above comments. They are excellent.
