Yesterday I had my 2 hour clay shooting lesson with Ed Common, from Newcastle Simulated Game, in Belsay Ponteland.
He was very good, patient and explained everything really well.
Even though I shot on/off for 10 years, I had never really taken it seriously and just shot as I taught myself to and picked up a lot of bad habits....
After a few months of very good help & advice from a friend I shoot with (Topshot) as we call him, he put me in touch with Ed. We started from scratch looking at my stance, how I mounted my gun. I now know where I was going wrong with these....
We also worked on my bad habits when shooting, not following the target properly and pulling the trigger to quick. Also the different method of shooting. I'm hoping over the next few weeks/months everything comes together and I can improve....
