Blinders - Crutch or Blessing?

Seems to be a mixed response among high level shooters.

Well Charlie, I'm nowhere near high level, other than being over six feet tall of course. Anyway I've worn blinders for over 25 years and I like them. For me they seem to help me adopt the right focus/pick up area and get rid of any distractions from the sides. Just my personal view of course.

Made up a pair , had them on for three targets and took them off and never thought about them again. I don't doubt that they are a very effective aid for some though.

I agree with ips. even if you dony have a focus problem on windy days it blocks the air and doesn't affect your eyes
