I've been doing a lot of skeet so was pretty much already hooked on that too. But I can see myself enjoying sporting a lot! :)

Was finally time to grab the bull by the horns and get out and try some proper sporting. All a bit new to me! So I went along to the Shotgun and Chelsea Bun Club shoot at Sporting Targets, Risely today. Some crazy targets that everyone struggled with and a few that annoyed me as they should...

Thanks :)  Used my Lanber, swapped the chokes out (3/4 instead of skeet), whether it made a difference or not I don't know. But it worked... using Hull Comp X in 21g 7.5 It all works when I point it in the right direction anyway.  :huh:

IMO dress doesn't define (nor command) respect although I understand it does to some... The persons attitude and ability is what defines that to me, not what they wear or what gun they choose to shoot with. As for the tradition bit - it's great that some people still want to uphold that - but...

What's the difference? Define clay gun vs game gun for me? What makes it easier to hit your target with one vs the other? I've never worn a shirt and tie in my life. Or do you only allow guys on your shoots too? PS I'm not being facetious, just curious.

Absolutely :) I'm about the least traditional shooter you'll find...  :lol:  although game isn't really my thing I wouldn't say no if I was asked to a pheasant shoot or similar as I do like a bit of pheasant for the pot. In that case the chokes in my gun would be the least of the worries.  :lol:
