    Insurance alternative to CPSA?

Hi All, my CPSA membership is shortly expiring and I don't really use it at all other than insurance - don't particularly enjoy the "Pull" magazine and have stopped doing registered shoots some time ago. Country Cover Club seems to offer a good insurance only option, has anyone used them or have...

    Shooting on your own

Thanks for the advice all. Got my license in May and have been enjoying shooting at EJC thu eve, OGC and Flightline, also did Beretta World - which was a challenge... Will try Happy Valley when they move to the Sunday shoots. Went to Bisley a couple of times and pretty impressed with their huge...

    Chokes for sporting

Thanks for the advice all and for clarifying the correct top / bottom barrel indicator. Just ordered another 1/2 choke from GMK, think it will be better than 1/4 whilst on the learning curve.  Aim to forget about chokes from here on!

    Chokes for sporting

Thanks Westley, glad to hear I got it right. It makes a lot of sense to uncomplicate life and to have the same in both, will see how I get on. At least I now know I got the theory right, just need to work on the actual shooting :-).

    Chokes for sporting

Hi All, Finally got my SGC and a new Beretta 686. It is a multi-choke gun and the choke system seems confusing so I want to check i am doing the right thing. I have used the following chokes: Top barrel: 3 notches (I understand this equates to "modified" or "1/2 choke") Bottom barrel: 4...

    Auritech custom

Hi everyone, I am currently using the auritech standard plugs, but finding it starts to get irritating after a while. Thinking of getting the custom  auritech which at £119 seem a good deal rather than going straight to the more expensive active route. Has anyone tried them before?

    Shooting on your own

Thanks for the tip, it sounds like I have longer wait than expected. The local license backlog is apparently 6-7 months :frown:

    Shooting on your own

Hi Nick, I am completing 6 lessons at RBSS, they are really good, but I am also keen to get some practice to practice in my own time on a non-caddied round and get used to a new gun once the license comes through. I guess Bisley might be the place for that... In the meantime I will complete...

    Shooting on your own

Hi, newbie alert... :-) I am based in Berkshire, currently taking lessons at RBSS, caught the bug, have applied for my license and waiting.... Once I am up and running I would like to visit local shoots but don't have anyone to go with as I have yet to hook family and friends into my newfound...
