I was meant to be eating health but when I saw all those there I had to have a french fancy . only had a £2 coin left . Was the most expensive french fancy I've ever eaten . all for a good cause. I should of gone T/OO today and stuck that £5 in there too

Well that was far from my best performance..... going away targets are clearly still not my favourite......

    First go at DT

I am lucky I guess as I shoot a lot of Sporting with Mr Faulds so he was showing me the ropes at DT. Quite a good person to learn from..... He said 23 was ok for a start. If I can master getting the second target which hopefully won't take to long, just need to build some muscle memory of the...

    First go at DT

Had my first go at DT today as I'm a Sporting shooter but going away targets are far from my strong point! I shot a 20 x 30 and 23 x 30 which I'm told is an alright score. I only missed the first target once, so need to work on the second target. I shot with a Miroku MK38 32" Sporter 3/4...

    Setting the bar in ESP

very well put. The only thing that wasn't good was the weather, it was freezing. But how many shoots put on a coffee stool half way round with a gazebo and gas heater so you could get warm for a while? WLSS may not host many registered shoots, but you can not fault how that shoot was organised...

Don't do that! I did that at West London!!! Thought I had no chance in AA with AAA and 350 entries and came bloody 2nd over all ?

Well everyone saying they went way to hard on the B & C Class shooters (I thought so to)  It turns out the shoot was won overall by a B Class shooter on a combined 90 (80 +10) That's about perfect for a B class winner. At least there weren't any combined 102's or 103's like last year! (I...

    Setting the bar in ESP

yeah. I ask Richard at Owls to move a trap to replicate that exact target. And shoot it a few hundred times until I've got it into my head how to shoot them. it can be extremely boring or frustrating but it works in the end

    Setting the bar in ESP

That is exactly it. That's how I practice. I shoot tough registered shoots, find weaknesses then head to a practice ground to replicate that target. I shoot from an easier (closer) position and work my way back to where it was In the compertition. I had awful trouble with Steve Lovatt's battues...
