I have the B525SL which has the same system. It does tend to move over time. I'm also using using spacers which has also cured the issue. 

I had one ,Probably the best option (except for having the stock cut and raiser fitted, which i had done in the end) Doesn't affect cast. My only concern was the glue used is a one time affair and very strong. I'm not sure if the glue will stain the wood in time?
