Skeet UK, you'll get on with a mate of mine called Karl - owns a reptile shop. :swoon:

I read somewhere that decking is the best thing that ever happened to the pest control industry. Apparently they love it. Fortunately I don't have a problem with rats but moles ,now that's another matter. Used to have no problem trapping them but they seem to have wised up over the past couple of years.
I thought everyone knew..........

There's only one way to kill a mole.......................blow its bloody 'ed off.... :hunter:   :hunter:

Wanna buy a torch and swivel chair?  :lolu:

Did that with one.waited till it heaved then pulled the trigger. Didn't see one for nearly a year after that. :spiteful: :spiteful:

Never seen a Hamster take on a full grown rat!! Can you film it Hamid, should get a laugh in the club house at Greenfields!! :nyam: :nyam: :fie:   .

Although the picture does appear to show it wrapped around the partial remains of a recent victims legs?

That is just the most utterly gorgeous reptile. Quite the most beautiful thing.

Yeah.  Not an actual picture of my Royal, but similar colourings.  It is wrapped around some wood and it is yawning, not being aggressive.

They are pretty...but I think things like this one are more stunning

That's it :mail:  , you are all turning my rat shooting blog into something much more interesting   , off to complain to Matt.

It is a small world Gary, next time you see Karl ask him about our Sunday exploits a few years ago, did three shoots in one day once. He's mega competitive, made A class in a little over a year but dropped things suddenly, didn't have the patience to take that last step which is surprising as he's near certifiable about his carp fishing.

I shall certainly have a chat with him.

Sorry to be taking your thread off course.  Though, that larger picture above is what Karl specialises in breeding; Green Tree Pythons.

Back on topic, The African Soft Furred Rat, also known as a Multi-Mammate, Natal, Natal Mouse or...Snake Crack!

Our rats are in our freezer!

You show me yours and I'll show you mine.

My new baby - I'd post a picture of the Boa Constrictor, but he's sloughing and he's just dull and mardy.

Looks a little BRB...female?

I would like a Boa one day...nothing too fancy BCI probably, but I am just in awe of their power to weight ratio. I mean, if you take a 2ft Royal, then take a 2ft baby Boa and compare the power...the Boa is so immensely strong for such a tiny thing!

This is Slim. He is a Royal Python (Python Regius) in Lemon Pastel (Graziani) flavour.
