Preparation for the annual shooting trip to Scotland has begun.
The quadbike had its annual service yesterday.
Gunner Gordon and I have tipped out the Rangie and de cluttered it to make space ready for packing the extensive range of gear that we take. I'm also taking some Fiocchi cartridges for a customer in Aberdeen.
Sadly this will be the last year in the caravan on the farm, but we have other plans afoot which we'll check out whilst we are in the area.
We are really looking forward to shooting with Wee Jim again, who has advised that he's replaced the 4x4 so we should be able to get around the estate that he shoots this year. Hopefully we'll manage a couple of nights out with Jim.
The batteries are on charge, Gunner Gordon is doing the shopping, some of the gear has been repaired, some modified and extra gear procured at modest cost; the 31st Broad Oak Light Infantry are mobilizing.
It'l be a late finish at work on Friday and an early start on Saturday.
