    Anti auto?

I borrowed a beretta 391 Ulrika to do a semi auto shoot, and ended up buying it! Use it a few times a year, and it still makes me smile every time I shoot it. It is also the first 12 bore that 2 of my kids have tried, as it’s so gentle on the shoulder, especially when using 24g Fblacks.  Great...

A bit of fun... virtual sweepstake/poll for the restart of shooting in England...

I expect that there may be further measures within the next fortnight, unless numbers really start to fall.  A review at half term, and then back to a tiered system by early to mid March.  It’s grim out there.... 1500 deaths in a day despite all the extra drugs that help prevent the most...

If you didn’t, what would you?

I really want a black action gun, it appeals far more than scratchings. I shoot a DT10, but would love a DT11 black edition, or the Perazzi hi tech black(or whatever it’s called) just for looks alone.  I suspect that I will treat myself to the DT 11 as a retirement pressie in about 5 years...

Which 20 Bore? CG or Beretta

Can I add another name to the mix? ATA are releasing a 20bore very soon (they should have been ready earlier in the year) Have a new one for second hand money, with a guarantee.

    Cartridge/choke Recommendations for Blaser F3

My pal uses Fiocchi fblacks 28g 8.5s for sporting in an f3, with Briley  chokes. 3/8 and 5/8.  They seem to pattern well and certainly break everything you point them at.  For long side on stuff, he will use a 7.5.

    How many shotguns

I have 5......but 3 aren’t mine, they were left to my sister, by my father, and she doesn’t have a license. 1. 1981 Browning Citori 802extra swing, an o/u with one multi choked barrel. Never seen another, and nobody seems to know much about it. Stock is only about 13 3/4. 2. An AYA sxs, non...

    Sporting Shoots 2020

Shot the Clay Shooting Company registered shoot at Oakedge today. All squaded  and pre-booked. Felt well organised and safe. As usual, Steve put on some great targets. 76 won C class, so I was happy with my 73. All done in less than 90 minutes, with no queues despite over 200 entries. 👍🏻👍🏻

    Gun help

I will second this advice. I know 2 people who have bought ATAs, and both are great reliable guns. ATA are part of Beretta, and have been for some years.  They are releasing a 20 bore imminently and two of my mates have ordered them.

Beretta 694 or DT-11 DT11 for DTL Trap - light build body type

I would think a second hand DT 11 could be had for little more than a new 694. I have a DT10, and love it. Good ones come in around the £3k mark. The newer DT10s have BERETTA in capitals on the action, the older ones have it in lower case. Try and get a newer one.  I would love a DT11eell...

Keep the lockdown until the new cases stop. At that point you can do a partial release and then see if anything flares up. You then lockdown smaller areas. Repeat until A. Everybody has had it. B. The flare ups get smaller. C. We find a vaccine. The bit that people still need to understand is...

It’s not right over here either..... They say it’s test, test ,test...... but the figures don’t add up. We are only testing those that are seriously ill in hospital, at a rate of 8k a day.....yet after all this time we only have 25k cases? Wtf? The number of confirmed cases went up By 3k...

    What will you do ?

You made your point, but the government guidelines are as follows...... I am happy that my 1.6 miles isn’t travelling unnecessarily, to avoid people and protect somebody who is at risk.

    What will you do ?

This “debate” seems to be rumbling on all across the country..... I have been walking the dog up to Cannock Chase from our house, daily for many many months. During the 2 mile walk to get there, I rarely see half a dozen people. This week I have seen many many more, not all of which understand...

It’s not just the way they lied about it... it’s the way they have reduced the spread.... 🔫⚰️
