I agree, multiple misfires are a classic case of firing pin issues, if you are lucky it's a build-up of crud under the pin but more likely wear and tear.

They do look cool, I can see how a man would "need" one of those, it would be great if you could try it out as suggested. Not quite the same but I saw a fella trying a trigger with a knurled surface and it was taking the skin off his fingertip

OK Freddy, I see your point but I think I'd rather get into the groove on a simple-ish stand than say stand three. A couple of easy birds dropped tend to make you pay more attention whereas one just accepts losses on tricky targets.

I re-join CPSA every year, I would think a lot do on this site so we can shoot REG shoots.

When I have to use fibre wads in my Beretta 692 18.6mm Optima barrels I always use Lyalvale English Sporters (in 8 shot) which do the job for me. Lyalvale say "The English Sporter is a highly consistent shot, delivering exception value for money." and why would they lie 😉

Could be interesting doing a 100 bird sporting or a few rounds of skeet
