Can any body tell me what the retail price was of a Browning Ultra XS Prestige Titanium in 2009. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

seem to recall they were about £2800 retail new 32" with Briley titainium chokes- with hard case .
recently saw a nice used one go for £2200

I paid £2450 for mine in May 2009 - they did vary a bit based on how nice the wood was.

Whats the difference between a 525 and an ultra xs?

The 525 has a wider/stronger body, different engraving, adjustable comb and trigger and a tapered rib. Other than that not a lot but it's more of an out and out competition gun than the 525
