Up early ready for a swift get away down the A303 to Wylye, arrived before 10am and meet TeePee (Tony) got signed on and had a brew then out to the course. Started on stand 1 which was a 5 pair of r/l Rabbit followed by a L/R crosser, missed two of the rabbits for an 8 ... Next was a simo pair of L/R Rabbits ( I think ?) 5 pairs.. missed 1 for a 9!... Can't really remember the rest of the stands in order so will let others fill in . Came in with a 73 which is a new PB for me! A fantastic shoot as always down at Wylye with what looked like a good turn out of shooters, never saw Tonky and co on the way round ?

Was a good shoot today, Hazel even got out her gun and managed a 41 with no zeros which she was pleased with, considering it was about 2-3 months ago that the gun came out of the cabinet. Managed a 59 so I was happy with that after a ropey start on stand 7 with a 3. Once I got going, I've not shot for about 5 weeks so I was really pleased to have hit most of the distance crossers and midi's. The 2 eye 1 eye technique is now starting to work.

Meet up with Tonky, Gem, Ian and Mrs Ian for a brew and cake afterwards.

Thought I saw Rob but only from a distance in the car park.

Had a cracking day.

Good to meet new and old shooting buddies.

Here are some pictures.

You all beat me to it, had an ace day, good score and cake !!! Can't begin to tell you how much I've enjoyed today, as Jem said, a long way but more than worth it and will be making this a regular shoot, thanks to everyone and good to meet up with Jem again, Tonky, Andy S and Mrs Andy S, so roll on the next time!

My first time at Wylye, but deffo not my last! Had a great time, hit a few, missed a few! Was hoping for 50%, finished on 52, so happy, but a couple of 3's made the card look a little sad :(

I might even put my card in next time....! ;)

Good to see Robo again, didn't recognise anyone else - shoulda worn the clown masks!

The famous Wylye cake went down well! :D

Guys it was a epic day really enjoyed meeting up with ian, claire, jem, and shot a 20/100 felt happy and enjoyed myself need more of days like today it was nice to see andy and his wife to thanks guys really appreciated it

I'm pleased you enjoyed yourselves yesterday. A bit of sun helps to raise the spirits and lifts the mood. Oliver Baker and Stuart Rudling shared the winnings on 95/100. Wish I could shoot like that!

Great score, 95 was a mighty fine score round that course Ian, I would like to know what five they missed though !

Just odds and sods here and there. Nothing specific. Oliver missed a couple of rabbits and Stuart missed two or three on stand 10, so still a bit impressive!

Yes very impressive ... Stand 10 was a card wrecker for me , only hit 1 I thought that the first target on that stand would be fairly straight forward but I was wrong ! Haha ... Good course yesterday Ian , thanks again .

What was the top score in C class ?

P Rhind shot 79 to win C. Full results sent to CPSA. Class wins and places on the website - www.wylye-shooting.co.uk

I saw Oliver miss one of the rabbits on stand 1, didn't really get annoyed or anything, just carried on and hit the rest. I knew he was on for a good score as I followed his squad onto a few stands and had a chat with him and Steve Gray.

Luke Elliot shooting a 94 as a Junior, is a pretty dam impressive score. Followed him onto stand 10 where he proceeded to hit all of them. Must have helped me though as I only dropped 2 there.

Andy
