If it's any clue, on my machine while loading up a page it nearly always says 'loading picture'.What picture,the only pictures appear to be avatars.Are they the problem?Occasionally it includes the word 'gravatar'.Vic.

Robo, dump Vista as fast as you can! Since I replaced Vista business with 7 Pro, no more any hangups. It boots up really quick! IE9 works much better also! The Lone CanadianHenryBeta for Vista, Office 2007 and even 2010

OK - I have some insight into what is causing, and might fix this problem... I need to do some double checking, and then I'll let you know what I have implemented the change.
