Insurance for shooting in Jersey

Later in the year I'll be competing at the Island Games in Jersey.

My CPSA membership will cover me for public liability but has anyone any advice about additional insurance please?

I will be taking 2 shotguns which will be kept in a secure armoury, travelling by ferry and the guns are worth less than £1k each.

Personally at the price of the guns I wouldn't bother.

Worth looking at a specific notification to your household insurers, we travel from the Isle of Man on the ferry all the time and just advise our insurer, no additional premium if worth less than £5k
