Congratulations to Richard Newstead and all the marvellous referees who sat outside on Saturday and Sunday in very cold conditions and all the helpers including the lovely ladies taking the entries and running the raffle to produce one of the best Charity events of the year. Two separate layouts of 40 targets set in a chalk pit covered in shrubs, with imaginative use of the terrain. On both days stand two was probably the decider and many a shooter slipped up with a simo pair of 60/70 yard right to left teals, which was the only unchanged stand over the two days and a great talking point with everyone who took part. The facilities were good with a chuck wagon, marquee and wait for it ............. a porta-loo. Please take note other grounds who run regular shoots. The money raised will go to Heritage House, Wells and St Mary's Church, North Creake. Richard announced at the prize giving that he hopes to run the event next year, so look out for it everyone. Oh and by the way £125 high gun was paid out on each day, and money down to third, plus ladies and juniors! Once again well done.

Who won sue? i was going today but it took 4 1/2 hours to shoot mid norfolk.[/quoteHubby won with 34 on his 2nd go. Gareth 2nd 31 & DG 30. Did you get any prize money today? I hear there was a lot there, we shot early and got round in 2 hrs 30 mins, we had a wait of 40 mins on our last stand. Tough but good round, no breakdowns for us.
