In the world of hi-tech gadgetry, I've noticed that more and more people

who send text messages and emails have long forgotten the art of

using capital letters.

For those of you who fall into this category, please take note of

the following statement...

Using capital letters is the difference between “helping your Uncle Jack off a

horse” and “helping your uncle jack off a horse."

OK ?

Vic.

Uncle should not have been in capitals.....just saying

Your relatives have some very strange hobbies, Vic!   :sarcastic:

I would have to disagree, Tinker Bell, or should that be 'tinker Bell' ?

When uncle becomes part of a proper name, as in 'Uncle Jack' it requires a capital letter as it is now part of a proper name not just a noun.

As in 'Father Christmas'

Vic - attempting to instill any grammar or spelling on this bbs is thankless and doomed to failure    :fie:

  :banghead:

The eighties are calling, they need their technology back.

I stand corrected then  i am now educated...thank you.

However, it should be more to do with punctuation....just saying..

Commas are important sometimes ....Laugh... Out... Loud

Now we are back to the 'Eats shoots and leaves' punctuation conundrum !

Vic.

You are getting confused with a 'condominium'.

That's one of those things men use on their willies when they are, you know, doing it.

I remember driving through a very small village way back in the eighties when I worked doing multi drop- we had to reverse to have a second look at the sign - Congdon's Shop. I thought it was comdom shop!
