Barrow Heath today

Challenging round today, only the second visit to Barrow Heath this year and a pleasant surprise, great variety of targets. The incoming low orange midi by the bales on the hill caught us all out, probably the hardest target on the round. Plenty to get your teeth into throughout. Kicking ourselves for the 'daft' birds missed. Weather was a bonus. Congratulations to Paul Simpson with a stunning 96!!

96 was a fantastic score.the round was much to good for me today and I ended up with a pathetic 71. I did hit every target but not enough of each one.still there is always next week.

Thought this was a super round! Got off to a stinker missing 2 of the easier birds on the course on the pair of incomers (5) and missed two dinner plate chondelles with the driven but shot rest nicely for 92.

Thoroughly nice round and once I woke up was reasonably happy with my shooting!

And a half decent straight on the pool ed.a bit chippy on the crow though.
