    Pilla shooting glasses

I have some prescription pillas. Bloody expensive, and a big "sod it why not" item for me. Extremely light, barely notice them on my face. Very very comfortable and the clarity is brilliant. Absolutely necessary though? Nope.

    normal glasses

Still amazes me at my local ground that people go against the rules and don't wear eye or ear protection. Last time I was there 2 chaps with their (young) kids were shooting the sporting course, no eye or ear protection on any of them. They were offended and threw a right strop when confronted...

Sporting Shoots; where- and how was it? (2018)

Is it worth a visit again? I'm working today but it's only up the road from home. Can you just turn up and shoot on your own?

Sporting Shoots; where- and how was it? (2018)

Really does vary, I try and turn up 11ish so the first "wave" so to speak of shooters are most of the way round.

Sunday shoots now the poor relative in the south.

As a new shooter who works shifts, the midweek shoots are looking like a great option to me. I go to southdown most weeks for a bit of practice, and want to start branching out into the other shoots so it's nice to know that midweek registered shoots do happen. However, weekend shoots will...

I know what you mean! Shot at southdown yesterday and it was a comical experience. Still, keeps you on your toes!

Master Eye issues and remedies - both eyes open

Great write up, appreciate the time and effort into this. I'm left eye dominant right handed shooter, tried the easy hit style bead with no real success, best solution I've found (bearing in mind I'm only shooting clay so always have them on) is the slightest patch on left lense of my...

Really do hope this comes off, it's only 2 minutes up the road from me and would be fantastic if it happened. I'll have an ask around locally about scorers, at the risk of sounding like an idiot as a newbie shooter are there any qualifications required to be a scorer?

682 gold e - hard to break open?

I suppose this is the risk you take buying a used gun? Cheers for the replies, much appreciated.

682 gold e - hard to break open?

That would be it. The lever is stiff and the initial break of the gun is hard, not smooth. Once past a certain point it is nice and smooth. Felt similar to the brand new berettas they had instock, it just took me by surprise for an older gun.

682 gold e - hard to break open?

Hi all, Looking for a bit of advice in regards to a 682 gold e local to me. I've been looking for a decent 682 for a while, this gun is at a local shop to me and fits me like a glove. The only thing that concerns me a little is of the 10 or so guns I tried, this was by far the hardest to open...
