It appears Mr Packham and friends are now taking Defra to court over the release of the 50 million 'non native' game birds. There angle of attack is the fact that no study has been done to show the impact on the environment that they have. Makes you spit feathers eh!!!

Having read numerous posts on here and elsewhere, i just wonder what are peoples perception of a reliable shotgun. Having been shooting for around 45 years, the ONLY problem i have had was with a new Franchi semi auto in the mid seventies. It just kept failing to cycle. It went back a few times...

Having just found out that i am as blind as a bat and should be hanging in a cave, some prescription glasses are a must now. So anyone please give your opinions on any you have and why you have them,  i.e. - Fit, lens selection, price etc. OR any to avoid!!! Thanks.

Had my garage broken into last night. R1 nicked and all my power tools and a 4.5kv Honda generator. Apparently 12 were done in the area. Never heard a thing and the dogs slept through it as well. So in all not a happy chap.  The moral of this is - if you haven't, get some added security fitted...

I have an Mx12 with the 'lacquered finish' it has a couple of marks on it and i would like to just touch it up to remove them (no comments please) Could anyone tell me what type of material is used to finish Perazzi stocks/forends IE - Lacquer/polyurethane/varnish etc - Its not oiled finished...

A quick hello to all on the forum, from North Essex. Life's like a Battue - Starts of low then has a quick rise in its beginning, crests for a bit, then the more it goes on the quicker the decent. Some are dead sooner than others, and some seem to just go on - until they reach there own end...
