    What vest?

I usually shoot with a pouch but fancy trying a vest after not shooting with one for a few years. Can anyone offer a recommendation for a decent skeet vest that doesn’t feel overly restrictive? Looking for one to go over a fleece for the winter time. Thanks Tom

    Browning XS Pro Sporter

A lad that works for me has a 32” model and the chokes supplied are a little odd as you mention but a great gun and will do anything you want. I’ve just moved away from the 525 action (mk38) to try something a bit heavier but you really can’t go wrong.    you can always add to the existing...

DT10 Bit long in the tooth?

Thanks for all the reply’s. The general condition of the gun is excellent to the point of being a bit of a sleeper. The locking bolts is protruding a good amount, the action is still snug and certainly not loose, the stock is near immaculate condition and both triggers that came with the gun...

DT10 Bit long in the tooth?

Being an L I dont think the moneys too strong (could be wrong) I’ve tried a couple of 11’s but the only way I can describe it is they feel a bit dead in the hands? Had a standard dt10 a while ago and shot well with it but unfortunately the stock split so got rid as a bit of a knee jerk but wish...

DT10 Bit long in the tooth?

It’s £3800 so less than half of the new dt11 I was looking at,it has all it original bits including spares etc, also far prettier than the 11. fits me perfectly, I’ve been struggling with recoil on my mk38 and this gun has none of the same problems.

DT10 Bit long in the tooth?

So I’ve got the chance of a very clean dt10L for sensible money, the action is still relatively tight and the action and wood work are very tidy. It’s a very considerable saving over a dt11. what do people think of the guns as a rule? cheers Tom

Sporting Shoots; where- and how was it? (2018)

Meadow Croft for me and a couple of friends. Managed to find a bit of form for the first time in a long while, came away with an 82 and was pleased to have it. We struggled with refs on a few stands, some not knowing the established rules on no birds and had a couple of targets taken from us we...

I should know better than to ask!

Being an experienced shooter I should know better than to ask but, I’ve been away from shooting properly for a few years and have got into a habit of using whatever is cheap and local for the odd straw bailer I’ve occasionally attended. Im trying to get back to regular registered shooting...

    New Beretta 694

I’ll have to mate, got another little one on the way. I’ve lost my way a bit recently with the shooting and have nothing like the form I used to have but I’m trying to make time to get back to some registered shoots and I wasn’t enjoying what I had previously.

    New Beretta 694

This is actually my second summit ascent, I sold my first as I thought I was upgrading but it was the only gun I regret selling. And I’m happy to say this one feels exactly like the old one.
