When I wrote the original post I was being told the storage cost was £660. Hence I wanted to understand if this was usual. I hadn’t been charged storage in the past as a member. The commission level is slightly greater than we agreed. However, it is what is it. Lessons learnt I guess.
It had been in storage for 1 year prior to being put up for sale. I was initially charged £660 for storage. However, I was told this was a mistake when I complained and the cost reduced to £330.
Apologies for the delay in responding. I was waiting for OGC to get back to me before responding.
They sold the gun for £1200. They are saying they’ll give me £570. The amount is broken down as £300 commission and £330 for one years storage. I haven’t received the money at this point though...
I’m wondering if there’s anyone on this forum that’s ever had any issues with the Oxford Gun Company? They have been selling a shotgun on my behalf. They have now sold it, however they have decided to keep the majority of the proceeds. If you’ve had similar issues, would you mind reaching out...
Anyone know a decent firearms dealer/shooting ground that will sell a shotgun on my behalf in Southern UK? Having upgraded to the XS Pro, I think I’m going to sell my other shotgun.
I’ve just bought myself a new Browning XS Pro and have decided that I’d like to pattern it to see which cartridges work well. Does anyone know of any shooting grounds in Southern UK that have the facility for me to do this?
I agree about the Titanium chokes. I’m a little perplexed as to why browning have removed them from the exquisite spec, while simultaneously adding £1000 to the price for what looks like laser engraving only?
Further to my Blaser F16 post, where I say I tried and enjoyed the XS Pro. What’s everyone’s thoughts on the XS Pro vs the XS Pro exquisite? Is it just the engraving that you’re paying the extra £800-1000 for?
