Evening chaps!
Glad to hear SW2000 is putting DT on again, fingers crossed it will get a few more wales shooters involved!
We had a good GB selection shoot there a few years ago!
Bisley now has the new DT system up and running
Nuthampstead might work for you EdLuke Garner is a former GB junior from your neck of the woods and he always trained there.
I think he said it was about 1:30
How do Jake!
Put that cider down and get back on the range!!!
You heared any more DT gossip on rules?
David Wathen has sent a letter to the ISSF to try and force an earlier decision but dont think he has had a reply yet!
Hi Paulos & Tobi
No problem with the cartridges, like you say its only a have a go day so feel free to shoot 28s if thats what you have.
Nuthampstead has a large stock on 24gram RCs if you want to buy any.
All i would say is that if you enjoy the day and would like to shoot more Double...

Hi TobiThe costs will be £9 for a round of the current DT of 50 targets and £7 for the possible new DT of 30 targets.
Coaching will also be on hand from various experienced DT shooters and Martin Barker who runs Nuthampstead and has years of OT & DT coaching.
Nuthampstead shooting ground will be holding a Double Trap have a go weekend on the 22nd&23rd of September.
People will be able to shoot both the old system 50 targets per round with 0-1 second delay and the possible new system of 30 targets per round random with no delay.
This will be the...
Thats some good shooting mate!!! I still haven't shot it yet but it looks harder than old DT which was had enough! Did you find it easy to remember the targets you had on the first line so you could spot shoot the rest or did you moving gun the lot? Think your spot on with the slower targets...
How do Jake! Glad you found the DT forum i set up! All this spreading the word on DT seems be working and getting some good interest going! Who knows we may get 6 squads again like the old days!!Southern Counties does have a chip for random DT, i think pete pestered them to get one a while...
For those of you on Facebook, i have set up a group called - Double Trap UK - again its just to keep people informed and to try and raise attendace levels for a much needed kick up the arse!
Matt
We are in dire need of more people like yourself to come and get involved. Im not sure why we dont get more good sporting shooters trying it? Maybe a lack of facilities around the country compared to sporting grounds being everywhere!

I and going on as Double Trap rep with David. Ian is leaving the board but dave has promised he will stay on a while till i...
Yep watching the russians miss more than they hit was great viewing!!!I was all geared up to start training on the random pairs but then got advised not to waste my time as it might not happen so i have been putting my feet up saving money till we get the final answer! Think ill probably train...
Everone finds DT very hard to start with but with time and lots of practice it becomes a lot better to shoot. once you start to get the technique correct you will naturally get faster. On my first go i only shot 24 and it took me ages to consistently break 30. 4 years later i made the GB team so...
Hi David
Yep i heard the same about various nations training on it. The indians have been working on it for a couple of years they reckon.
Its really frustrating as we have no idea how its going to turn out. It seems lots of people thought the random pairs was to hard so they talked of...
