You should get one, but I have never been asked for it. Normal shotgun certificate, invitiation letter thats it. Like most bureaucracy the EU licencse is a necessary waste of space!!!! but it keeps them employed.

Have never understood why rabbits are allowed in FITASC sporting. Every other target has all sorts of reasons why it would be called a no bird and corrrectly are called no birds if they deviate in any perseptable way, so that all competitors shoot the same targets within reason and then next...

IMO, If its not the proudes sporting acjievement you can have then don't bother doing it! Be proud and if you've earned vest wear it with pride! Totally agree with Ed on the way FITASC is going, I enjoy shooting full stop, soft shoot or hard shoot, but there should be a noticable difference...

I and many others witnessed GD shoot a measured and totally upright teal out way beyond 100 meters/yards in South Africa. He shot it gun downout to 60 yrds! Couldn't believe it mysaelf and can't undertand the ballisitics?

Agree with the above, but happy to say FITASC sporting if it helps. There is so much rubbish talked about FITASC sporting in my opinion; that its extreme,unfriendly,difficult to understand the rules,takes all day etc... In practice I think that is complete rubbish. Modern/current English...

I can't see a problem with the rule changes. I think the menu rule stems from the idea that FITASC is meant to simulate walked up game shooting in origin and in that activity the shooter needs to be able to identify the quarry or non quarry secies, no one shouts...
