Just applied for my shotgun certificate.I have shot at some grounds under instruction for a few.months and have shot air rifles over the years .Hoping to gain any tips and help .Pretty sure it's going to take months before I get the certificate but it is what it is .

I have just joined myself and I haven’t even applied for my licence yet but have had tuition for a few months. Unfortunately the met police aren’t accepting new applications at the moment… hopefully it won’t take too long for you!

Hi and welcome! Ok here is your first tip, don’t rush to buy your first gun. It’s so easy to go at it like a bull at a gate, try to resist. Join a club and if possible try as many guns as you can before you buy one.
Also, it’s better to by a decent quality used gun rather than a new one. I speak from experience!!! Have fun!
