I traveled down to Dorset today to shoot the Fitasc there. Cant wait to shoot it again in better conditions.
Without doubt the worst conditions I have ever shot in, on a positive we only lost one squad member during the day.
The targets were excellent, starting on a layout that consisted of mostly Driven and a couple of edge on quartering, this was the most sheltered of the layouts and at a guess probably my lowest scoring parcour as it contained my two bogey targets!
The next three layouts were all varied but honestly they were all shot in such torrid conditions that Ive forgotten most of them already.
No idea what i scored either, it was a case of pull the trigger and get home.
Even my waterproofs let me down, and the top lever on my gun is not springing back when I close it (any suggestions? or just a case
of letting it dry out)
Hats off to the Refs and to one of our squad who literally lost his hat in the wind.
Posted a very quick video hopefully it plays OK?
Off for a decent bottle of Red and Hot Curry
