Updates this weekend

There will be some updates applied to the forum this weekend - to fix some bugs, and make some improvements to security and usability. 

You might notice some changes, and I'll post again about those as soon as I see what impacts us directly.  There will also be some short downtime, I'll try to do the work late at night to minimise impact.

You know we are no good with change, I love that you try and calm us because change is coming.  Will there be a support group for those that find the changes too much? x

Where's the star gone in the top right? It seem's to have been replaced with Unread content. I navigate and read topics entirely by the Star, can you point to who I find the view of popular topics please?

It has been removed - take a look at the activity tab which has a stream of updates from the site - including topics you can follow.

Try this, (instructions for PC) Click the Activity tab then click All Activity. At the top of the stream there's a tick to the right of the words 'All Activity' If you click it it becomes your default view and now appears where the star use to be. I've also changed the stream to condensed view so I can see more information per page.

I think I still have some Winchester AA 100's  32grams of 7 1/2's. They were always good for assisting you in seeing stars !
