Shot at this ground for the first time yesterday morning. They are open 3 days a week plus BH’s but are open all this week. Hard standing car park and driveway from the road, good targets, traps are maintained and work without spitting out dozens of no birds. 2 Skeet rings, ABT/trap layout...

Common Leys ground at Oxford was selling these for £200 a thousand!

Located off the A41 between Aylesbury and Bicester. Fantastic setting, free tea and coffee, proper toilets, hard standing car park and good paths, targets were mixed with some very challenging ones. Good crowd, £30 for 100 birds and a bar for a drink once you have finished your round. Recommended. 

Little used set of Prowler shooting glasses. Frame with nose piece and clear, orange and smoked lenses with protective pouch. Excellent condition. £20 inc UK postage.   

Unused and still with tags attached, large size so will hold plenty of cartridges. Belt loop on rear. £20 inc UK postage.   

This ground is permanently closing at the end of this month after 30 years of trading. Sad. 

Went to this 50 bird shoot for the first time today, only found out about it recently although it has been going for years. £17 for 50 birds, set on a farm with large campsite next door. Toilets, free coffee (self serve). Very good bunch of shooters as I turned up on my own and the team...

Second time shooting at this ground today. Options for 50, 70 or 100 birds. Variety of targets, right alongside the M40 motorway but shooting away from it. Refreshments available, car park and well trodden path around the site but an uphill walk to get back to the clubhouse. No wheelchair access...

Was in Jersey last weekend and pre arranged to shoot sporting at Crabbe using one of their club guns as a guest. Great ground on the cliffs overlooking the sea, good targets and a great bunch of guys and girls shooting there. Crabbe has multiple shooting clubs on site from clay to black powder...

Can you store section 1 and section 2 guns in the same safe as long as it meets BS7558?

Clearing out a lot of unwanted stuff now I have re-started clay shooting, I have 500 of these all boxed that I don’t want as I have switched to a different cartridge. £100 for all 500. Collect J4 of the M40, may be able to meet further afield for some petrol money.   

I want to get my gun properly fitted and make sure I am mounting correctly. I’m close to J4 of the M40 but happy to travel. Am thinking of EJ Churchill fairly close to me or a trip to Ian Coley who I understand has an adjustable try gun and pattern plate. Other recommendations welcome. Thanks.
