I took up clay shooting earlier this year and bought a cheap Rizzini to get me going. £145 and seems to work fine. I look forward to getting something nice when I have progressed a bit (😬). Like the feel of Berettas and the 692 black looks tasty. I’m enjoying the anticipation!

Thanks to all of you who kindly took the time to respond and offer advice. Had an excellent morning with Will Hewland at EJ Churchill's ground and learnt loads in a really good 2 hour lesson. Feel like that I at least know something about the basics now and have some reference points to practice...

Thanks Bugsey. Actually the ground where I took lessons (A1 in Barnet) recommended Park Street guns, so I’ll be checking them out in the New Year. 

Seemed to me that I need to support and guide the Browning but feel like I am holding the Beretta... this could of course just be me talking gibberish after a Thursday skinfull

Luke, thanks for your advice.   Had a trip out to EJ Churchill and tried a few guns. Liked the feeling of the Beretta 686 but the only used one they had in stock was fairly beaten up including  a dent to the rib, and quite a ‘loose’ action.  I’m sure it would be perfectly fine to use but ‘day...
