A lot are used to relieve Trigger freeze or flinch, same sort of thing as the darts players "Yips" where the thrower cannot release the dart. Eric Bristow had it and it nearly finished his career. My mate can shoot 50-60 carts then struggles to pull the trigger, he often pulls the gun off line...

My Sordins were silent, but my new Swatcoms have an audible sound on there lowest setting. My mates are the same, probably because the new Swatcom are digital. I must admit it does not bother me, but that could be my mild tinnitus.

Agree with you 100%, no shooting ground is going to set up new targets the evening before a comp. Where it was said they have AAA shooters saying it was too easy I thought it was a main ground with main ground facilities. Ie. Enough traps and area to set up forthcoming targets and leave old...

Freddypip, I thought that was normal on most reg grounds, previous comp targets are left on till the day/ week before the new comp.

What, they practise the Sunday comp targets on the Saturday ? They have practise where I shoot at Southdown on sporting on the Saturday, But definately not the Sunday reg comp targets.

I have changed mine to a small red bead, much better for me. I did take the bead off altogether for a long time.

Personally I find the 3/8 closer to the 1/2 than the 1/4. More like a .18 rather than .15. I tried the 1/4 chokes in mine and found more chippy kills. Its all a confidence thing and with a decent cartridge , Fiocchi officials or Rossa s for longer stuff Im pretty confident.

Seem to be a few more no birds on the grounds I go to on practise days, always seems to be the same after a few frosts or in exceptionally hot weather. I must admit I have always been asked if I have had many no birds when I go back to clubhouse and have always had them removed from the total...

Do you use a gunslip ? My mate had very similar marks in the same position caused by the zip.

The mid bead on my CG was push fit, I know that because it fell out. Not a great lover of mid beads so no loss. I never changed my front bead, but Im sure they are threaded. Drop CG an e-mail and they will advise.
