Looking for someone to shoot with

I shoot at Deal and Sandwich Shooting School on a regular Basis, shoot skeet and sporting, also at Martin Gorse Wood, I won't be there for the next couple of weeks though.

Semi auto, love em / hate em.

I find with my Maxus that the gram does not have much affect on the cycling, it is the cartridge length that is more important. 65mm cartridges have the odd miss feed, 67mm rare miss feed and 70mm never miss feeds. On clays I tend to use Fiocchi lightspeeds that are 26 gram and 70mm in the...

    Recoil problem

It is gun fit , it is gun mount, it is numerous things. Faster cartridges will kick more, an over and under will kick more than a gas semi auto (I have both), but does it really matter, or is it all in the head. I always use the largest gram possible, more lead more chance philosophy. Personally...

Shotgun certificate renewal ( photos )

I've just renewed my cert, my doctor charged £20 and considering it is half a dozen check boxes, this is enough.

    surprise !

Congrats on the new gun, I'm sure you will enjoy it. Not had one myself but did have a go of one a few years back, it was a sporter and  a lovely gun. I'm sure a few people on here would of had one in the past, or even in the present. You can always get the gun fitted to you. It must be that...

    Lyalvale English Sporter fibre ?

I've shot the fibres, I can't tell you what they are like compared to power red/blue, but they are very similar to Gamebore Velocity+ if you have ever used them. I didn't find them thumpy but I only shoot fibre so maybe I'm numb to it🙂

My 525 doesn't want to go

Was a my local gun school on Saturday and they had nice looking Beretta 692 for sale. Pick it up and it felt really good in the hands and shouldered great. Put a few rounds through it on the skeet range and loved it. Put it back to think about it and took my 525 for a round of 100 sporting. Sods...

    Fiocchi TT1's.

I only shoot fibre's, I have used Gamebore Velocity+ and Evo;  Eley Select; Lyalvale English Sporter and at the moment Jocker LA (as I can get these for £183 per thousand). Not much difference between any of them in use (I can shoot well and bad with all of them), I just buy based on price. Not...

    Gunfit

I agree with you, I don't knowingly give mounting the gun much thought now. I have lost quite a bit of weight in my face and for me I think this has improved my sight picture. My gun has a very small right hand cast and now it is centring to my eye correctly.

    Gunfit

I have a B525 sporter one and have been shooting for just under a year, I have always felt the the gun fitted me quite well. I generally score in the mid to late 60's (best was 69)just to give you an idea at what level i'm at. Anyway recently I have been noticing that the gun just feels better...
