C class shooting in the 90s not likely to drag the average down too much, I hear what you are trying to say but that spread of top shots is not much different to others I attend as percentages of total, let's be fair and say it must have been a tad soft?

It is a strange one, I did venture that way last year and shot a very well balanced course. Not really sure how you can set up a course where nearly half the entries score 90 plus, I think if I was to shoot the same 50 pairs of what I classed for me as easy targets then I would still struggle to...

An enjoyable round again at Barrow despite the drizzle, clever target setting and a respectable course average of 72, I just crept past it.

You guys must be shooting at the wrong grounds, I don't recognise this behaviour at shoots in East Anglia, maybe a lack of decent choice where you are, but if correct then I understand your frustration

East of England today, another awesome round of clays, course average a very firm 62, won by Martyn Myers on 88. All visible and hittable, nothing silly and thoroughly enjoyable, just crept past the average

Changing the topic slightly, the habit that irritates me is the need to use their gun as an imaginary paint brush as they move it from their hold point to kill point to hold point for second shot before calling pull, I can just about stomach seeing it before the first pair but before all 4 pairs...

Firm round at East of England (average was 68), very enjoyable even though it took a bit longer than normal to get round. Weather was fine, good selection of tricky targets, you had to work hard to put together a score that passed the average. A couple of very pleasing stands and not too shabby...

Maybe been a few less over the winter period but generally still very busy in East Anglia, judging by the cars in the car parks, most not feeling the pinch
