Sorry to interrupt guys.....: P but problem found! It seems that my can will eject cartridges even though it's not fully open. I'm talking a tiny amount, I can actually make it happen now. If I consciously open it with more effort, it works fine.

You are absolutely right Robert. Definitely a bad habit among a lot of shooters including myself I can imagine. Thank you ever so much for your input guys. I have enough 'ammo' to have a good look at it now and try a few things.

That makes sense Phil. As stated above I normally shoot sporting. This was my first DTL competition in 16 years, so maybe I'm doing something unknowingly? I don't think I am but who knows.... I was interested to know if it has been heard of before as It drove me nuts after being deducted that...

The trigger was slack. Didn't click, not even lightly. To only happen twice in a 100 bird shooting don't think it is springs but will check. I feel that something isn't engaging when I break the gun to cock the springs ready for the next shot.

Yes, it has perazzi stamped on it. An old friend has just given me a new spring to keep me going and he has only had one go in 5 years! Can I add I am probably partially to blame for not firing off before storing the gun. Lesson learned! Surely 2 months is still a bit premature though?

Hi all, recently purchased an MX8 with no hard case. Anyone know prices or where to get hold of one? Better still has anyone got one for sale? My gun has 32" Barrels. It did come in a zip up Krieghoff case which has the foam insert for each part but doesn't lock, so I would consider an exchange.
