    A few thoughts on 'Over bored ' barrels

    Re overboring... 12bore UK standard dimension is anything between .729 and .740 inches. If a barrel is stamped 18.4 it measures from .724 to .728 which is not quite 12 bore but in uk proof is actually  called 13/1(.ie between 13 bore and 12 bore.) So called back bored barrels i seem to recall...

    Shoots are too easy nowadays

    Be interesting to see how the top Americans do at Churchills !!... My view on recent shoots is that the targets are generally getting closer but certainly not easier. The result for me is that I enjoy shooting at the close ones less than the long ones thus I'm  enjoying English Sporting less...

    Has anyone shot in the USA bigger FITASC or sporting comp's. How do they compare target wise. Are we keeping up with the rest of the world in target setting? Any views??

    New member, old shooter

    Hi everyone, I'm a long suffering clay shooter and have just discovered this site. Greetings to you all. Currently shoot MX8 Perazzi but am awaiting delivery of one of John Jefferies RSR ( Reverse slope rib). I'm looking forward to some lively discussions.
