    What vest?

Apart from some of the garish designs I really like the look of the barepelt ones.  Not sure if there is a UK stockist though.  They look exactly what i want in a vest.  No padding at all on the mounting shoulder, thin, and lightweight.

    CFG - Top Service

Just a quick post to say how great the customer service has been from Rich at custom fit gaurds. Back in April myself and 7 shooting buddies decided to all get some defenders made by CFG.  The team at CFG sent somebody to take ear molds at our village pub on the 7th May and we all paid or...

    Blaser F3 super sport

Hi, I'm just adding this to the site on behalf of my cousin who I shoot regularly with. Blaser F3 super sport. Grade 6 wood 32" tubes. 10 chokes.  Barrel weights. There is some cosmetic damage on the adjustable comb. See pictures. £4950

    Falling numbers of shooters.

Perhaps another indicator of numbers dropping off is that my local gun shop in Kent, which is a well respected and fairly large set up didn't want to do a part ex with my cousin on a new gun last week.  His current gin is a beautiful condition Blaser F3 Super Sport.   They indicated that since...

    New year blues

I don't want to have the winter blues.  I had my third or fourth proper coaching session with Ed Solomons in December and it really feels like its been the most fruitful yet.  Things started to click into place.  I also really enjoy my shooting group of three other lads who are great fun.  We...

    Brace yourself

More quality journalism from the BBC: "It is more difficult to get a licence for firearms than for shotguns, because weapons that fire bullets must only be used for specific purposes in specific places. These would include deer stalking or sports shooting on an approved range. In contrast...

Sporting Shoots 2021. Reports and discussion.

I made the mistake of going to our local ground, Willow Farm, on what looked like a fairly nice sunday morning.  I've never been so wet shooting.  Soaked through to the skin, and so cold for August. Just horrid.

    Gun reviews on youtube

Poor show by Edgar brothers then because as distributors they'd certainly have the reach. They're big in the rifle shooting world.

    Paid and no service

yep - throw some money at it.  An outsourced consultancy, and a platform like SalesForce which is a cloud based CRM and they could have the solution live in 6 months.

    Paid and no service

I meant no money in it for a software development company.  There are about 40 police forces in England and Wales.  Thats not many customers of your product.

    Paid and no service

I sometimes think that as a software developer, and knowing our local FAO fairly well, that the process is crying out for some updated technology.  A system that joins everything up for a start would be nice.  But its such a small niche market there is no money to be made in building that system.

    Beretta unveiling... something?

For the grand unveiling of a product with the shooting world watching why not slap a bit of nice timber on it.  From a distance if someone asked me what it was I'd think ATA. It's like a bit of school work bench.  Horrible.

    take a look !

I don't know about the dumbing down of targets but I do know the two sessions I've had with Ed are the best investments I've made in my limited shooting career. I wish I lived closer to his grounds.

    Gun shop near North London

You're fairly close to some great shooting grounds, all with Gun shops on site.  EJ Churchill, AGL, and Sporting Targets.

    Yildiz Pro Sporter

I'm afraid I can't offer any opinions on the handling and build.  I just wanted to say its looks superb for the money.

    MedCert

Its a shame that using medcert can't just be accepted UK wide.  I joined my doctors surgery when moving into a village in 2010.  I haven't used it yet.  So medcert are as relevent to me as the local doctors.

    Italian overdesign

I like to have the smallest amount of fabric over my shoulder when i shoot, but if i wore something with that fit I'd look like 20lb of shoite in a 10lb bag.

As a software engineer, same applies. Utter bulls-muck hiding the one bit of info you need to get your code working.
