Went to College Farm on Saturday and enjoyed the super sporting. Good squad including the high gun Ricky Draper who shot a 99. I shot an 82 which made me happy on my birthday.

Sunday for us

I find teal difficult especially if they are a bit further out. My perception is off. I hit more than I used to but they still get me. Same with the going away thing it was with. So annoying.

Was I behaving myself 😂. I had 3 disastrous stands and the rabbit stand half marks was my 4th disaster so my card was no good. Stand 3 I overcooked the midi, it was one of my disasters. Had a report pair afterwards and realised what I did. A very bad one for me was the going away on report...

Saturday shot College Farm and shot rubbish. It was a good shoot, great company, weather good but my beloved husband forgot my eyes and ears as he was packing the car. Rage is what I felt trying to shoot in his prescription sunglasses which I could do if they didn’t keep falling off my face...

We shot it too. Very tedious with the amount of no birds we had. We may have had one or two stands with a few, the rest were a lot. One 4 pair stand I had to shoot 8 pairs. Spoils it a bit and I lose interest. Good company though going round otherwise I’d have been off back to my warm car.

I had a 2 hour lesson with Cheryl on Tuesday at Owls in the pouring rain. Hadn’t had one in a very long time due to work and as always really enjoyed it. Today went to shoot Barbury and have competition analysis with her. It was awful weather, bitterly cold, blustery and either rain or hail...

I love Fitasc but don’t shoot a lot of it. Have to admit I prefer shoot 50, 30 min break then shoot 50. I really struggle with loads of breaks as I cannot switch off. Weather plays a big factor as well.

Shot the Bictsf Compak at EJC today. Early start first set of squads, nippy and got colder. First layout for us was 4 and it was 1 single and 2 sim pairs. We were unfortunate as we had to stop 4 times as we had breakdowns. Managed 21 though so not unhappy. Then shot on the two skeet...

Gunsite today and again in parts not unbearable weather but in other parts it got cold. Big turn out and went out at 12.45 and finished around 4.00. By the last stand I was very achy and had enough. We seemed to be unlucky at least 4 if not 5 break downs. The cold getting to the batteries...
