    CPSA REG SHOOT OR NOT

Just got phone call from shooting ground and they say it was a registered shoot and the scores will now be sent to CPSA to go into class / average data. they said it was an CPSA error and system failure.  sorted ???

    CPSA REG SHOOT OR NOT

no not at all. I can remember when your scores were put on a card that you would log all your scores and trappers released clays at the sound of a bell

    CPSA REG SHOOT OR NOT

Yes I agree it was not in pull or on CPSA web but clearly advertised on Oxfordshire shooting school website and later with scores listed with class places. guess it best to check before traveling to a shoot if you want to shoot registered targets

    CPSA REG SHOOT OR NOT

No Matt I have been in contact with CPSA and they have confirmed that the Shoot was not a registered shoot. Shot at Churchills today  good shoot very busy and my felt wads broke the long birds no problem

    CPSA REG SHOOT OR NOT

They ran a few Cpsa reg shoots last year I shot one and scores were put on the averages, they are advertising the next one on the 30th may. The Cpsa do nothing about a ground bringing shooters in believing it is a registered shoot  and did not return my phone contact on their answer phone.

    CPSA REG SHOOT OR NOT

When is a CPSA Reg shoot not a REG shoot ? .....the answer is when it is at the Oxfordshire Shooting School.  The shoot on the 25 th April was advertised as a Registered Shoot  but the Cpsa say it was not registered , so scores will not be going towards the averages.

Matt if you had to have had a shoot off and you were using the fibre Wad cartridges as the ground expects and the other guy was using Plastic would that be fair play. well shot anyway with the felt wads you were shooting with

As I said before the Ref/scorer was aware of the Plastic Wads being used, and maybe not to disrupt the rest of the squad did nothing .It should be up to the ground to enforce their own rules in however way they want. my question was is it cheating as by using plastic wads will give an advantage...

I wish all Grounds a good turn out, and as you say their fixtures do clash and some people do have to earn in the week to be able to support their Hobby .Churchills is now very busy but allow Plastic for their CPSA Shoot . As I say I always Use fibre and don't feel I am at a disadvantage with...

I always shoot with fibre/felt wad cartridges , but a well known good shot was using plastic at the fibre only shoot yesterday, the ref / scorer was aware of it. I asked why the shoot was not well attended I was told it was because this was a fibre only shoot, which makes me think that top...

Shot at this CPSA shoot today, not very supported but nice ground . My question is, at a Felt Wad only shoot, is using Plastic wads cheating or not.
